Just a few of my own personal tips and precautions that I take when I’m away from my dogs. I hope these help you on your next trip away from your pup!
Some people claim that there is just no way for regular pet parents to make a dog food at home that is nutritionally balanced for their pets. It’s just utterly impossible! Well to those people I often say, “Isn’t it funny that we can raise human children to be thriving adults on food from the grocery store and yet you find it so hard to believe that we could do the same for a dog who will eat poop and trash if given the opportunity. Are you telling me that a dog’s physiology is somehow more complex than a humans?” I mean, call me crazy, but this line of thinking makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
You need to be brave and fearless to be a better pet parent. You need to be willing to try new things and new ways of doing things. If you are open and willing, you’re going to find yourself in a magical world of limitless possibilities and potential.
They are on lots of aggressive dogs who are being walked by humans who have no idea that their pronged collars can pop open without notice, when you least expect it.
I have had pets my whole life. Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats, snakes, rats, mice, fish, birds, lizards and pretty much anything else I could get my hands on. I make it my mission in life to educate myself to be a better pet parent and I find that by empowering myself as a pet parent, I have become a better person. Let’s all work together to make the lives of our pets better and by doing so, our lives will be better too.
I’m not a nutritionist or a vet. I have no formal training. This blog and website is purely my opinions, thoughts and ideas. Always consult your veterinarian before making any changes to your pet’s diet. With that said, be brave pet parents! Question what you are told and who tells it to you. Your pet’s life will change in magical ways as will yours.
